Pirate fun day at our local Sure Start which meant Jessica's first face paint and tattoo(!) and she loved it! It was the most still we've seen her!

Jessica and Mummy had great fun at Washington Wetlands today with the Beavers! It was very wet in the morning but the sun also came out for us :)

All three children enjoying cuddle time on the settee together!

There was a competition going on between Maisie and Oliver, unbeknown to Mummy, this morning at Butterflies - who could get the most paint on them. It was a draw!

Maisie and Oliver weren't having their best day in Church this morning so Mummy took them into the porch for a quick break out moment! 

25th July

Mummy was on a spa day today (her first child free day for almost 4 years!). Jessica spent the day with Granny and they went to look at the boat/ship to Amsterdam which we'll be travelling on! Photo courtesy of Granny :)

We took a Metro trip to the airport today. Unfortunately there's no viewing area now but we did spy the control tower and the tail of an aeroplane from the tunnel connecting the terminal with the Metro!

We ventured to the quayside in Newcastle today. We stopped for a tapas lunch at La Tasca. Here's is Mummy's experimental panoramic photograph! Not bad except for Oliver and Jessica's faces!

Who knew giant ball pools were such fun?! If you can't beat them, join them was Mummy's logic today at soft play (probably our last visit until after the summer holidays as it gets too busy to keep track on 3 escape artists)!

16th July

Today was Jessica's last day at pre-school before the 6 weeks summer holidays. This is her running out of school with her friend for the last time (her friend is going to a different 'big' school in September unlike Jessica who has another year of pre-school). Plus a bonus photograph of Jessica with her 100% attendance award for the year. The only child in nursery to receive this!

15th July

We went to watch some aeroplanes land and take off today. Unfortunately there's no viewing tower now at Newcastle so the back streets of the airport had to do! Jessica and Maisie had great fun!

Maisie and Oliver helping to bath the babies at Butterflies today! Mummy was wetter than the babies by the end!

Even a Princess (pre-school end of year party!) has to walk home from school!
