It's hard work choosing a new settee for the new room! Mummy couldn't resist a quick sit down on this giant memory foam style cream seat - we didn't buy it!

A bit late, however, Jessica and Mummy eventually made (well, only erected and decorated this year!) the Gingerbread House! Please ignore the mess in the background - caused by upheaval of the building works.

Daddy took Jessica to her first cinema trip to see Snoopy. She loved it and can't wait to go back! Here she is eating her hot dog before the film started.

Week 9 of build

Lots of work this week as we almost have a roof! No tiles yet but wood with velux window holes and felt have been fitted!

It was Christmas party time at the Golf Club today so Christmas jumpers all round and another Santa. He was too busy this time to pose for photographs so we didn't get any dramatics from the children. Daddy did catch this photograph during snack time while Mummy had a sneaky afternoon wine!

Maisie insisted on cuddling every pole on the way back to the the car at Morrisons, and there were lots! 

15th December

Maisie on the same slide which Jessica now refuses to go on after she hurt her finger. Maisie went on it 4 times this morning (Mummy refused each time as it's an almost vertical drop!).

14th December

Jessica had her school Christmas party this afternoon so we all walked to collect her (in an attempt to allow her to burn off some of the sugar consumed!). On the way home, Daddy couldn't resist a quick peek at the mist on the golf course!

Week 8 of Build

There doesn't look like much work has taken place this week (some days were cut short because of the weather) but the brickwork has been almost finished including shaping up towards the roof and the internal scaffolding has come down. We're getting there! 

13th December

Another visit to see Santa and Oliver loved it! Jessica again refused a photograph and Maisie screamed! 

12th December

We all visited Santa at the Sage today. Jessica had a great time but refused a photograph with him. Maisie and Oliver seemed a bit confused by the whole thing but enjoyed it!

11th December

It was Jessica's 'Wriggly Nativity' today. She was an angel and also carried the star leading the three Kings to Bethlehem. She was brilliant!

We visited Grandad (& Grandma!) and home today now that he's been discharged from hospital. Oliver had a great time rocking on the caterpillar!

It was our Music and Movement Carol service this morning. We sang Twinkle Twinkle. Here is Mummy with Oliver on her knee (front row, second from left) and Maisie sitting with lady next to us!

We visited Peter Barrett's Garden Centre with Granny today predominantly to see their Christmas displays and they did not disappoint this year! Jessica, Maisie and Oliver all loved it!
