Hair cut time for Oliver this afternoon. Even with a biscuit for bribery he wasn't very happy! 

27th February

26th February

Mummy and Jessica time this afternoon (well, for an hour). She insisted on going to Sainsburys for lunch (Daddy gets the Pavilion, Mummy gets Sainsburys!). It was very nice either way! 

25th February

It was Oliver's appointment at the eye hospital at the RVI today. He has not tolerated wearing his glasses over the last 6 months. We agreed that we'd keep trying the glasses but will review him in 6 months as he's managing to see everything without them (Hopefully nobody notices that Oliver was wearing the same cardie yesterday!).

24th February

Oliver found himself a co-ordinating wig to match his cardie today at playgroup and then put it on!

23rd February

22nd February

Mummy, Maisie and Oliver made a quick visit into Newcastle this morning on the Metro while Jessica was at nursery. Flowers, Krispy Kreme donuts and essential oil purchased along with a visit to the bank. Successful trip!

Oliver was quite taken by Peppa (& Minnie Mouse!) at Daisie's birthday party today. Most children ran in the opposite direction!

We can't find any of our plant pots or vases as they're in a box somewhere in garage waiting for the kitchen to be finished. So, Mummy came up with a cunning plan - a nappy pot! It works wonders and doesn't look too bad!

15th February

A snowy (the photos don't reflect this fact!) visit to the beach this morning with Granny and George. All was going well until an unexpected wave took Maisie off her feet and into a seated position whilst soaking Jessica, George & Granny's boots/shoes!

Mummy had a lovely girly afternoon today with Auntie Gill and Becks. It was the day to choose a bride's dress for Auntie Gill and we succeeded! Becks and Mummy enjoyed the refreshments as the dress will remain a surprise until the big day!

Week 15 of build

Hopefully the final week! Kitchen partially fitted this week.

12th February

Poorly big girl today. She had a rough night last night so made up for it with a 2 hour nap this afternoon. Just a cold type virus but it's knocked her.

We did receive some beautiful flowers today from two special friends so that did make us smile!

11th February

We have another walker on our hands! Look at his beaming face! He's still very unsteady but can sometimes manage to walk up to 10 steps now indoors. 

10th February

Oliver enjoying a new playgroup this morning. Twins Club is only alternative Wednesdays so we've found a new one to try out.

We have lighting! It's not quite so yellow in reality but suspect that's the plaster reflection.

Week 14 of build!

Technically the build is now over but we've got the pretty bits to go in like a new kitchen, flooring and then the whole area painted. Here is our kitchen plus the open plan downstairs toilet (we've moved a wall).

Week 13 of build!

The window is in and the temporary 'security' wall is down! Other than the radiators and electrics the actual build is complete!

6th February

Jessica enjoying time at the Fish Quay and Old Low Lights with Granny today while Mummy and Daddy empty the kitchen and utility room in readiness for new flooring.

5th February

We have an oven and hob! Nothing else yet but at least we can cook again.
