It was Emily's baptism today so we were all dressed up. In true Douglas fashion, there are no photographs with all of us on so here are the girls posing afterwards!

Messy play at toddlers this morning. Maisie and Oliver spent most of the time eating the messy play!
17th January
Jessica's homework this week involved doing a science experiment (any!). She agreed to make a volcano and loved it!

Oliver loved his walk to school (from the car park). He's normally stuck on Mummy's back so loved the slight freedom. He managed to borrow one of Jessica's friend's scooters and walk it around the yard while we waited for the bell!

It snowed here yesterday and we had just under an inch. Maisie enjoyed playing in what was left of the snow today. When asked what the snow felt like, she said "it felt like snow"!!!

Another day, another appointment. Today was Oliver's hearing test. He didn't play ball so we have to have it repeated in a few weeks!

Oliver was prepared after swimming. He ate his raisins but made sure he'd moved the brush alongside him first to clean up afterwards!

Maisie was being independent on the walk home from toddlers today. Refused hand holding (other than crossing the road). She's growing up!

This little tinker had a blood test this morning and even that didn't stop the smiles, well, it did for about 2 minutes!

2nd January
The last day of the school Christmas holidays. We've all had a sickness bug, a cold virus and now high temperatures but we've mostly enjoyed the holidays. Jessica is still not well so Daddy took Maisie and Oliver for a walk (well, he carried Oliver!). They enjoyed the fresh air and the chocolate lolly!
1st January 2017!
Happy New Year! We didn't have the best of starts to the year (or end of last year) because Jessica has been poorly which cut short our night out, however, the girls had great fun having a spring clean today & enjoying their Christmas smelliest!

New Year's Eve! Mummy and Jessica went into Newcastle this morning to spend some Christmas money. Here is Sunshine Care Bear!

We popped in to see the Doughty family this morning and Jessica enjoyed her play date with George!
29th December
After a busy few days, we had a quiet morning at home. Jessica loved watching We're Going On A Bear Hunt which we'd recorded on Christmas Eve.
