Today we visited the first day of our local Food Festival. Much fun (& food) was had by all!

Look who we found inside an empty Easter egg box!

 

27th April

Swimming for Oliver this morning. We went back to collect Maisie from Granny's work when Maisie and Oliver decided to prepare for a party!

 

26th April

Jessica peddled the whole way to school this morning. She did brilliantly despite the narrow and bumpy pavement!

 

25th April

Mummy and Daddy were able to nip out for a quiet lunch today. We did have some food too! 

 

24th April

Back to normality again with school and nursery. What isn't so mundane is that Maisie has worked out how to fasten a zip this afternoon. She's very proud of herself and has repeated it several times to prove it wasn't a one off!

 

23rd April

We all had great fun at Esme's party this morning. The girls loved the slide but Oliver didn't!

 

 

22nd April

The first wedding of the year as Verger/Verger's Assistant and we're already hiding behind masks which were left over from our St George's Day Service last night (the lion was representing the Percy Lion on our neckers)!

Jessica's last morning of the Easter holidays so her choice of activity was Waves swimming and then a quick 30 minutes around their small soft play. She was brilliant in the pool but no photographs so here's the best option! (The 'Toddler Area' is underneath where Jessica is - she hasn't sneaked in!)

20th April

Probably the warmest and sunniest day of the year so far and we had headed to the beach so it worked out well! Also had George with us as Auntie Steph had a meeting so we all enjoyed his company too!

 

19th April

A lovely day at Whitehouse Farm today. We all had great fun!

 

 

18th April

Maisie and Oliver were at nursery this morning so it was Jessica's choice of morning activity. Breakfast and then new school shoes was the decision. A quick ride to finish the morning off!

 

17th April

Today we cracked learnt riding a bike!

 

16th April

Easter Sunday! Church then lunch and a very wet Easter egg hunt at the Doughty house. Unfortunately chickenpox has landed so Benjamin and Joshua couldn't join in the fun.

Our first Easter egg hunt of the year with our neighbours. Thankfully the weather was great!

A day trip to the beach today!

 

12th April

A visit to St Mary's Island after a craft morning (decorating eggs and cooking). Unfortunately, we timed it badly because the tide was in so we had to stay on the mainland!

Jessica helped with a toy clean/clear at Church this morning. She also found some dinosaur feet which she loved!

 

10th April

A trip out for breakfast and then our local Sealife Centre before pre-school jabs this afternoon and swimming!

 

9th April

Another busy sunny day! Palm Sunday at Church, garden play and then a scoot to and from gymnastics stopping off at the War Memorial on the way home!

 

8th April

A busy day today with Nursery Easter party, Jessica at a play date and also garden play!

 

7th April

End of term soft play and dinner today with some of the school parents. 11 little people between us and they were all brilliant!ly behaved!

 

6th April

Four little people (1 hiding) during a play date this morning and look at the state of the room!

If Oliver stands on the dishwasher lid, he can reach the fruit bowl. By the time we spotted this, they had demolished 2 bananas and nibbled on 2 apples!

Daddy took Jessica to her first Newcastle United match today. She loved it!

Maisie now has a helmet so she was able to scoot to school and back this afternoon. The walk back was long!
