Maisie and Oliver were at nursery so Jessica and Mummy visited St Mary's Island. We climbed to the top of the lighthouse and then spent time looking at and jumping over rock pools. Good fun!

A brilliant day at Alnwick Garden. Oliver in particular loved the water features. It was impossible to choose just one photo!

Jessica rode the whole way to and from Gymnastics today (3.5 mile round trip journey)! Mummy's bike will have to come out now too because Jessica is going too fast to run alongside.

We got the box of Lego out this morning and Oliver wasn't bothered by the Lego to start with!

We went to visit Daddy this afternoon after school. Unfortunately, we were halfway there on the Metro when we discovered there was a burst water main and no Metro was running for the final part of the journey. We ended up getting off our Metro, getting on a Metro heading in the wrong direction before boarding a bus! The girls thought it was an adventure even if it took an age!

It was miserable weather this afternoon after nursery so we spent the time cuddling and generally having a bit of quiet time before school. This photo was a bonus!

No Church this morning but we had another birthday party. Jessica had great fun with her school friends!

It was George's family birthday party today and we all had great fun!

Maisie spotted Jessica this afternoon through the stained glass window. They were both very excited!

Look who Maisie met today! This was the closest she would go. Oliver met them too but was attached to Mummy's back so no photograph. 

 

10th May

This is what we found on the way home from school today. A large pond and only 400 metres away from our home. It's set back from the road so that's why we've never seen it before!

Daddy sent Mummy some amazing flowers today to say thank you (he's been poorly for 10 days so he wasn't up to doing much). Every girl loves receiving flowers!

A lovely evening walk to meet friends tonight and it was lovely to watch the sun setting!

Jessica and Benjamin were very proud of their winning tower at George's birthday party today!

Today has been all about Lego as Mummy was making the cupcakes and cake for George's party tomorrow (we delayed this post until after the party!).

We've discovered a new walk home from school. It's definitely cross country at times but now the weather is improving, we'll be using it occasionally!

Oliver was doing so well filling up his cake case until this happened! 

 

2nd May

Maisie's 'baby' needed to have a nappy change so she went to the changing table upstairs. Maisie then decided to throw the rubbish out of the window. What we didn't realise was that she'd thrown almost a full packet of wipes out of the window one by one. They were attached to the wall, the tree and everywhere in between. Needless to say, Maisie was spoken to!

Jessica must have been entertaining Maisie (with goggles round her neck!) and Oliver as they're clearly distracted from the job in hand!
