The summer holidays have wiped Maisie out already. She needed a nap and was gone for 3 hours! We did go swimming this morning so that might explain it.

Horrible weather today so we opted for a family toddler session at Church (got to have a perk or two!). Granny provided 3 pop up tents which just added to the excitement/chaos!

25th July

We had a games morning this morning while Maisie and Oliver were at nursery. Jessica won Connect 4, she drew(!) at bingo and couldn't quite grasp battleships so we opted for playing with Oliver's trains instead!

Jessica was at her last gymnastics lesson of the academic year today. Mummy was stuck on a first aid course all day so Granny took her!

Granny was invited to a retirement party in London today so Mummy travelled with her to keep her company. It was a beautiful day to do the London Eye!

Jessica had another trip out today with the school. This time it was to watch the mayor officially 'opening' the building works on the new school. Jessica is front right with the wonky hat!

Today was Oliver's last physio swimming session as he starts preschool in September. We had a bit of a party. Oliver decided he didn't just want a few Doritos!

Such a lovely afternoon so we called into the park on the way home from school and spent an hour there with friends!

Jessica visited Alnwick Castle today with the school and had a brilliant day. Here's a photograph of Jessica with two of her friends (courtesy of Jeannette who went with the school to help).

This little monkey has discovered that if she turns the knob on the car, the music volume increases. Much hilarity from her! 

9th July

Another busy day for Jessica! Climbing a telegraph pole, making tin can pancakes, playing on the adventure playground and swing plus helping to drop tents. She's had an amazing weekend!

8th July

Jessica has had a busy full day at camp. She climbed a wall, discovered archery, went grass sledging, made and ate dampers, rode on a quad bike, made suncatchers plus lots more! 

7th July

Jessica and Mummy have arrived safely at Scout family camp and it's sunny! 

6th July

No swimming again today so we helped Granny count the cutlery needed for this weened's camp!

We went out for dinner after school today and Jessica had to test the lime in Mummy's drink!

Maisie and Oliver had their Stay and Play session at their new preschool this morning and they loved it!

Believe it or not, there are three children on this photograph. The problem we now have is that they've discovered a hiding place behind the bamboo and bushes at the bottom of the garden so all three are lurking between the fence and bushes. We could hear them but not see them!

We have a roller skater! Jessica used her birthday money to buy herself some roller skates (she had attended 3 roller discos and seems to enjoy them) and she is loving her first time trying them at the roller disco!

Oliver should have been swimming this morning but it was cancelled so he did his water music and play in the bath instead!
