29th September

A quiet wet day here so not much to report except some bulk cooking of apples! Courtesy of someone else's foraging this time. The children (& Mummy!) love stewed apple with yoghurt or custard so we have lots to freeze and use throughout the year plus a huge apple crumble for pudding tonight.

28th September

Maisie was very proud of the conker she found!

27th September

A trudge through the woods on the way home from school this afternoon!

26th September

Maisie chose her clothes this afternoon. Cycling shorts, wellies and a thick coat!

25th September

Happy Birthday Emily! No clue what is happening here - Oliver is bent over double, Jessica and Maisie appear to be staring into the corner of the room, Auntie Steph is maybe snoozing and Emily is running around partially dressed!

23rd September

A beautiful day spent at the Tim Lamb Centre!

22nd September

6 mornings at school and this little person has turned into a schoolboy. Hands in pockets, bruised legs, t-shirt hanging out and messy hair!

21st September

Jessica had great fun at Beavers tonight making musical instruments!

20th September

Maisie has had a hair cut! A good 4" removed and it looks much tidier. Plus, she insisted on walking to school with her babies. Pretty sure she doesn't see the similarities in her pushing a pram with twin babies in it on the way to school!

16th September

Uncle Alex teaching Maisie, Oliver and Benjamin the tricks of golf while at their house for a charity coffee event!

15th September

Maisie is keeping a watch on the builders building her new school!

14th September

Oliver's first day at pre-school today. He had an amazing morning. His teacher explained that "Oliver was wearing everything that he'd done this morning" which explains the mud/paint/glue/chalk/banana/other all over his top and shorts. Now all three are uniformed and in school!

13th September

Our last morning of Oliver/Mummy time and there was only ever one person who would fit the bill to celebrate with!

9th September

Jedi Training Camp birthday party for Jessica's school friend today. This was everyone making their light sabres. She loved it!

8th September

These two were helping Mummy & Granny set up for an event at our Church tomorrow. They (mostly) helped!

7th September

Jessica has started Beavers! Her first night tonight (we'll ignore the fact she's been coming along to help for the last 3 years!).

Thursday, 7 September 2017

6th September

Maisie and Oliver haven't started preschool yet so Auntie Gill and Mummy took them to the new trampoline park today and they loved it!

5th September

Obligatory first day photo for Year 1!

4th September

We visited Northumberlandia today for the first time. It was great! We managed to walk around most of The Lady although missed out an arm and a leg because that was too much for 3 pairs of little legs. This is the best photo we took which shows Northumberlandia's face in profile. The photo we took standing on her head (you can just see the viewing platform on her forehead), doesn't have any obvious body parts!

3rd September

This is the reality tonight. Labelling (with a sharpie pen) uniforms for three little people!

2nd September

We asked Jessica what she'd like to do today before life returned to 'normal'. Lunch at big Sainsbury's was her answer! We did have to drop the tent this afternoon (after staying in it a second night) so it was a good idea!

1st September

Daddy had to go to work today so the rest of us went to Wooler to visit Auntie Steph, George and Emily (Uncle Chris was at work too).

31st August

"Mammy, please can we go camping?". Camping in our back garden was the best they were going to get!

30th August

A trip to Seaton Sluice today. Maybe the last ice cream of the holidays?
