It’s raining but that’s not keeping Maisie and Oliver inside!

21st April
Hopefully the only time the children are in a police van! Unless they’re employed by a Police Force!
20th April
We have Barnaby Bear from school for the weekend. He enjoyed his first night in Oliver’s bed!
19th April
This little boy was left alone for 2 minutes. Where did he go? Straight to the Easter egg pile! He was very proud of his efforts! It was impressive.

18th April
Parachute fun at toddlers this afternoon. Maisie and Oliver are both underneath laying down!
17th April
A lovely coffee catch up for Mummy with a friend (not seen each other for about two years). Watched the progress of Silverlink roundabout from the coffee shop window while we chatted!

Back to school today and normal service resumes. The children all enjoyed a play in the sun this afternoon after school!

14th April
A lovely day and picnic lunch at Leazes Park today plus ice creams to mark the end of the holidays!
13th April
We came to walk along the pier but the gates were locked. We decided to play on the beach for a while before heading along to Collingwood’s Monument and a walk along to the fish quay and back.

12th April
Daddy collected his new car today so we then headed into Newcastle for lunch. Yo Sushi was the favourite venue so we headed there. Jessica lost her 6th tooth during lunch too! The tooth fairy will be bankrupt.

11th April
It was cold and damp today but no rain so we headed to the beach! The sea wasn’t very calm but we still had fun and finished it off with our first ice cream of the holidays!
10th April
The weather is back to its normal self so we spent the day starting homework and crafts. First, ripping up paper for a papier-mâché globe!
9th April
The best weather today! We had a lovely warm afternoon at the Tim Lamb Centre with friends. The girls are both on swings and Oliver is in the background having just come off the climbing frame.
Tuesday, 10 April 2018
8th April
Lunch in the garden followed by an afternoon in the garden while the children and Daddy enjoyed an hour with Grandma and Grandad!

7th April
We don’t often go to a restaurant and eat out as a family so we decided to go for lunch today. The girls enjoyed their colouring in and Oliver loved the ice cream at the end!

6th April
A brilliant day! We went on the Metro to Central Station then got the train to Durham. It was Maisie and Oliver’s first time on a moving train (other than a Metro) and they loved it. We walked over to Durham Cathedral having lunch on the way. The bonus was seeing the Lego model of the cathedral! It was impressive. Then walked back to the station before heading home. We are worn out!
5th April
The sun is shining (whoopee!) so we met with some school friends at Shiremoor Adventure Playground and spent most of the day there as it was so nice!

4th April
Another horrible rainy day so we jumped on the Metro and went to watch lots of trains (Oliver loves trains) at Central Station before heading into town for food before heading home!
3rd April
Today was a cookie kind of day (we decorated them because we had leftover icing from Easter cakes!). The girls learnt that if they come down the stairs on their tummies, they get friction burns on their tummies. It’ll be a while before they do that again!

2nd April
Horrible weather outside and after a busy weekend, a day in was the plan. Chocolate may have featured too. Despite Daddy’s requests, Oliver refused to share!

1st April
Happy Easter! A morning at Church then an egg hunt at Auntie Steph’s house including a rare photo opportunity of the 7 cousins!
