21st December

All ready for our Tim Lamb Christmas party! The eagle eyed will notice the girls are (almost) wearing the same clothes as yesterday!

20th December

End of term Christmas party and there was a special guest for Oliver and his friends!

19th December

Festive clothes for school for these two today!

18th December

Christmas card factory here tonight!

17th December

We hadn’t factored in a shaved head for Christmas! Oliver locates and used Daddy’s hair shaver and used it before we could stop him (the missing line of hair is in the centre of his head on this photo).

16th December

Our beautiful wreath made by our friend (we added our dried fruit).

15th December

Our annual family trip to see Fenwick’s windows. They weren’t as festive as usual but we enjoyed the Charlie and the Chocolate Factory theme!

14th December

A very cold and wet day in York for Mummy and Granny today. Lovely afternoon tea which helped warm the bones!

13th December

Oliver’s school has an enterprise event today and this is the haul that Mummy any Oliver won/bought!

New glasses day for Oliver! He chose bright green this time.

11th December

Oliver had a school trip to Whitehouse Farm today and he met Santa!

10th December

Christmas party time at the Deaf coffee morning where Mummy helps out. It’d be rude not to have a glass of Buck’s Fizz with everyone! They also gave us a beautiful bouquet and some wine to say thank you. Feeling loved!

It’s Christmas in the Douglas household!

8th December

Jessica and her friend were sheep in the Brownies nativity today at the Salvation Army!

6th December

A lovely morning at the LDNE carol service!

5th December

The most amazing sky tonight!

4th December

Jessica and Maisie’s first swimming lesson tonight and they refused to pose. They both have water confidence and can swim but not strong enough yet and they prefer playing in the pool when at weekly Scout session!

3rd December

All three children in one place, in their pyjamas and eating dinner together. Success!

2nd December

Mummy went to see The Overtones tonight with Granny, Auntie Steph and George. Best photo of the evening was with the 4 elves from the audience!

1st December

We took home Posada today from Church. It’s a Mexican tradition where Joseph, Mary and a donkey travelling around the community staying over for one night at each home!

30th November

It was the church fair today. Oliver needed some space from all of the crowds so we went into church and he helped set the candles up!

29th November

Oliver still loves the bath so it’s an easy answer when he feels he’s missing out on Rainbows and Brownies on a Friday evening!

28th November

Another (routine) visit to the RVI Eye Hospital. We were first there so the playroom was quiet and tidy!

27th November

A wet miserable day but it’s Mummy’s birthday lunch with friends!

26th November

Writing our Christmas lists at breakfast time because we found the Smyths catalogue!

25th November

Mummy’s birthday today and a new member of the family arrived! Our first step towards a particular C word (that we don’t mention until December!).

Thursday, 28 November 2019

24th November

Maisie chose Build a Bear so we did that today!

23rd November

Oliver chose to go to the Tim Lamb Centre for his birthday so that’s what we did today!

22nd November

Another traumatic tooth loss for Oliver! He fell and hit the windowsill so now number 4 is out too.

21st November

Celebrations over for another year so a quiet coffee watching the waves!

20th November

Our updated annual birthday photo!

19th November

The demands were a white teddy bear (rather than chocolate) and Mr Tumble’s Spotty bag. Done!

18th November

We were all excited to receive a posh chocolate lolly from our friends for our birthdays!

17th November

Costa date for Mummy today and the drinks matched the cakes!

16th November

When your sisters are poorly and don’t want to play it means you can play with everything alone!

15th November

Mummy and Daddy has a great evening at the Church Ball! An earlier end than we wished as Jessica was poorly at home and awake.

14th November

Dress down at school today so Oliver went as a Red Devil!

Oliver loves to look at his magnetic letters and read each one before putting them on the radiator.

11th November

Oliver chose dinner tonight. His favourite - bangers and mash with peas and gravy!

10th November

Remembrance Sunday march this morning. The girls opted to go to their Rainbows/Brownies service rather than Scouts.

We’ve had some awful weather recently but we hit lucky for our golf lesson this morning!

8th November

Entertaining each other while we wait for Oliver’s taxi!

7th November

Impossible to get a decent photo due to excitement but all three children are now in Beavers or Cubs!

It’s November so it’s not too soon for mulled wine!

Oliver’s new name lights on his door!

4th November

2nd November

A day out to Lightwater Valley with Jessica and the Brownies! It was very damp and cold. Jessica was very disappointed that she wasn’t tall enough for the Ultimate and for the big swings! Ended with an amazing firework display.
