22nd August

We all had fun at Shiremoor Adventure Park today before heading to see Grandma as it’s her birthday.

We enjoyed a (kind of) pyjama day today. We did have to collect two parcels from the Post Office and then to the shop for the necessities but otherwise we rearranged Oliver’s room and had leisurely baths!

20th August

We visited Streetwise Museum today and loved it! We’ll definitely be back. Trams, cars, buses, bikes and toys from the olden days! We finished the day with a visit to the Humber Bridge (just for fun!) as it’s so impressive.

19th August

We visited a new park today and had a slightly more relaxed day!

18th August

Honeysuckle Farm today! Horse and cart rides, hay bale jumping, animal feeding and park fun!

17th August

A hideous day weather wise so we went to the beach before having lunch and then Mr Moos. We came home earlier than planned so we could watch Mary Poppins Returns with popcorn while the log burner dried us out!

16th August

Breakfast in the garden followed by a fabulous warm day at Sewerby Hall! Another train ride, park fun, animals and dressing up fun.

15th August

We had an annual pass for The Deep so we visited there today when the weather wasn’t great. The penguins and jellyfish are our favourites!

14th August

A disturbed night sleep for Jessica this time before we headed to the park for some fun including blackberry picking, swan paddle boats and a train ride!

13th August

Everyone was desperate to go to William’s Den so we went today as the weather was so nice. It was amazing fun!

12th August

We’re on our holidays! There were cows on the path on the way in (they are allowed to be there). The children were amazed! We received some butterfly cakes from the cottage owner when we arrived. Delicious!

11th August

Oliver is feeling much better. We made it to Church and then had a play afternoon while Mummy packed bags for our holiday.

10th August

We still have a poorly Oliver so after Daddy took the girls to Sainsbury’s, we had a science and craft afternoon!

9th August

Plans with friends had to be cancelled today as Oliver has been poorly overnight and all day. Mummy enjoyed the sleepy cuddles but not so much the poorly child!
