28th December
Both sets of Grandparents visited us today with their presents. Unfortunately, it was back door deliveries but it was memorable! We all loved our presents.
27th December
Travelling home today but not before we lost a tooth, found our holiday elf had drank Mummy’s prosecco and then we cleaned the house! Returned home to open more pressies!
25th December
Our alternative Christmas Day! Very different to our normal day but we loved it. Santa found us and left lots of gifts, we went to the park, failed miserably at taking two family photos, had no sprouts and finished off by decorating Santa ornaments!
24th December
Santa sent his Christmas Eve box early this morning with a little surprise. We were going away for Christmas! We arrived, decorated our Christmas biscuits, visited the park, wrote our Santa letters and left a trail for the reindeer.

First surprise of the Christmas holidays - a family swim. The (blurred!) reaction of each child says it all! Cold and wet people weren’t all thrilled to have a photograph afterwards!

Final BSL exam of the year completed today before our Beavers and Cubs Christmas party in the car park after swimming!

A surprise doorstep delivery from a friend followed by Christmas card writing! Not much else to do when the weather is so hideous.

We were very patient and waited until December, but now it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in our house!

26th November
Mummy had a BSL exam and the we had an optician appointment today. Mummy received a surprise bottle of wine from her BSL tutor too! There was no wine last night, due to the exam so that was opened tonight!
25th November
Mummy’s lockdown birthday today. Our fourth birthday in full lockdown. By January we’ll see if we’ve made it a full house!
Mummy has had a lovely day with lots of friends and family doing doorstep deliveries!
24th November
Our house has looked like this for the last few weeks. Christmas gift bags and wrapping paper everywhere! Not for us, but for our local community who are going without this Christmas.

21st November
Afternoon tea (for lunch!) and an afternoon play on the beach with hot chocolate was our best option for a lockdown birthday party. We all had a great day!
20th November
We have two 7 year olds! They’ve had a fun day, despite it being another lockdown birthday. Bonus photo showing the “same photo, different year”!
19th November
Today was all about making two birthday cakes. Maisie asked for a sheep, Oliver asked for an Easter egg cake. Clearly Easter eggs weren’t available, so he got a chocolate cake!

This is what we have to do to see friends now. Distanced walk and costa coffee in the park!

We are lucky to have children who love to read! Admittedly, in some bizarre positions!
