We bought a new ‘toy’ during lockdown and it’s amazing. Our very own (non-permanent!) mini swimming pool. Oliver is loving it as he’s missing swimming so much!
Daddy had a governor’s meeting tonight (online) and Mummy had to remove the Sunday School VE display so we timed them together to enable Daddy to concentrate and not be interrupted. Oliver loved being back to church and having a quick ride on some toys!
Mummy found this photo of Jessica (plus a few more)! Taken by Jessica alone (Mummy’s head is in background finishing a jigsaw). No idea how Jessica did this or got that high but it’s impressive!
Oliver is up early each morning so it’s a battle to find activities to do to avoid waking the girls. Today he decided to do a sensory sniff of every herb and spice. The faces were priceless!
We went for a bike ride and walk this afternoon. Oliver’s first time out during civilised hours. He was brilliant. He visited the Metro and didn’t touch anything while patiently waiting 17 minutes to wave to the train! He loved blowing the dandelion heads!
We are so proud of these two girls. They’ve slept in a tent for the last 30 night, and the last 7 have been outside when the temperatures have dropped to 2° and 3°. They are 6 and 8. They didn’t complain and have loved every minute! They are also world record holders (as are Mummy and Oliver) as we helped achieve the world’s largest camp!).
