It’s been a while but Maisie returned to school today (her choice) for two days a week and loved it!

We don’t have any game consoles in the house except for a Wii, which hasn’t been plugged in for 8-10 years. Mummy plugged it in today to allow Jessica a try and she loved it once she knew how the controls worked!

Happy Father’s Day! Daddy opted to take the girls for some golf practice!

Oliver and a mummy made some butterfly cakes today for Father’s Day! No photos of the actual making because Oliver wanted to crack the eggs and, while he did a good job, it was slight chaos!

Maisie’s Rainbow challenge was to make a boat using tin foil and then to see how many pennies it would carry. She loved doing this!

We thought we’d finished with den making but apparently we’re not! Olivia joined the girls too.

We had a lovely long bike ride to Royal Quays today. The girls were brilliant and managed all 10 miles of the journey! We’ve gained Olivia who is the Rainbows ‘mascot’. She has joined us for the week!

Another delivery from a (different) friend today. This time it was warm scones!

17th Wedding Anniversary today and we celebrated with Afternoon Tea (eaten after the children were in bed to avoid ‘helpers’). It was amazing!

We received a lovely delivery of chocolate cakes from a friend today. They were delicious!

Mummy and the girls had a lovely (wet!) socially distancing picnic today at a friend’s house.

We’ve gone green! It now matches the other half of the kitchen.

Today hasn’t been great in terms of the weather so we had a day playing!

Oliver inherited a desk for his room. Granny acquired a chair and Mummy reupholstered and painted it to match his room. Oliver adores it all!

We had a trip to see the cruise liner which is docked in the Tyne. It’s huge!

The anticipation and excitement when three children realised they’d missed a visitor today who delivered cakes for us!

This was a very exciting evening for Mummy. First night out with a friend in more than 3 months. We sat in the Diversity Park at Silverlink, used golf umbrellas to protect from the rain and shared a bottle of wine! All while socially distancing. Great fun!
