29th July
We found a new park with lots of space to run and play! A few people were there but sufficient space to spread out safely.

27th July
Our favourite park was quiet today because it was raining! Oliver then asked for an unexpected visit to the beach (it had brightened up by then) so we enjoyed a plodge and play there too!
26th July
Oliver and Daddy had a walk and play in the park while Mummy led the final zoom Sunday School of the term!

24th July
Another day and another new park (the third different one this week), followed by our first socially distanced visit to see Granny in her garden! We have visited previously but stayed in the car.
23rd July
A very wet start at the park (cagoules and wellies required) and beach but then the sun appeared and it turned into a lovely afternoon!
22nd July
Today was a much warmer day so we had a long walk and scoot to Silverlink to collect a parcel. Very little complaining despite it being only just under 5 miles return journey. We then returned to another thank you gift. This time from Sunday School, for taking the lead during the lockdown.
21st July
Oliver was desperate to go to a park so we went today. It was pouring of rain (these photos don’t show quite how wet it was!), but that meant it was quiet!
19th July
We got the smaller paddling pool out today, given that the forecast isn’t great this week. Oliver was straight in!
18th July
The weather wasn’t great today so we started the holidays with a spring clean. Everyone joined in (for various lengths of time!).

17th July
Last day of school and beginning of the summer holidays! The girls both made pizzas for dinner which were delicious.
16th July
Jessica’s last two days of being at home alone (Maisie is only back to school for two days a week). She wanted to walk the pier. Unfortunately, it was closed although no sign of winds, waves or maintenance! She enjoyed taking some photos (she took the two on the left of this collage) and playing on the beach.
15th July
It was the final zoom quiz for Mark’s office tonight. We have played host for the last 16 weeks (112 rounds!), but it was time for it to end due to school holidays and lockdown now being relaxed. After the last round, we were asked to open the front door and this little pile was there to say thank you! We will resurrect the quiz in September but perhaps only fortnightly or monthly.

10th July
Today we cooked the fruit! We made gooseberry crumble (we ate this for pudding and all loved it), raspberry coulis, raspberry gin and red currant/black currant sorbet.
9th July
Jessica’s first fruit picking adventure! Not her last as she loved it! She tried and liked everything, including gooseberries (that’s what she’s trying in the funny face photo!).
5th July
Maisie was very proud of her robot which she made for Rainbows! It’s head rotates and extends!
4th July
We spent a bit of time this morning colouring in our NHS Birthday window posters. Oliver’s colouring and pencil control is coming along brilliantly!

3rd July
Jessica and Mummy were alone today so we spend a few hours at St Mary’s Island (in the rain!). Coincidentally, the local sea hospital were releasing three seals back into the sea at the same time (we didn’t know until they arrived).
29th June
Oliver loved making towers today! A little help was needed to start him off but he built the majority of this tower and he was so proud of himself!
