Today is the last day of Daddy’s holidays. He wanted to visit The Spoon so we did that, followed by a visit to the park! Finished the day off with giggles about the vacuum!!

25th August
Our last full day on our holidays and we’ve had torrential rain and high winds most of the day. We opted for a day around the cottage so log burner was on (the first time we’ve ever put it on during the day due to child safety!) - Oliver was fascinated. We managed a trip to the local park too.
24th August
A visit to East Park today! Donkey rides, train rides and lots of fun before returning home and playing in the garden and forest.
23rd August
Our first visit to Sledmere House and we loved it! The house itself was closed (Covid), but lots of grounds to explore, an adventure playground and a farm. We met tiny piglets which had just been born. Finished the day at Mr Moos!

A different park visit today! We finished the day off by getting very close to a working combine harvester which was very exciting, and loud!

A fabulous hot first day on our holidays today so we visited the two big local parks. We had lunch at one and then ate our dinner outside too to make the most of the weather!

Jessica enjoyed having pamper time with Mummy’s makeup before a surprise arrived - our new (to us) electric piano! We all love it.
15th August
The girls were allowed to go shopping for the first time in 5 months and they loved it! Oliver enjoyed watching Daddy returning home from golf too!

Fun at Shiremoor Adventure Park before we went foraging for blackberries. The girls couldn’t stop laughing when asked to pose with their haul!

Mummy made it to church this morning before we headed to see the swans, lake and park. All finished off with an ice cream!
8th August
The girls stayed at Grandma and Grandad’s tonight. Oliver, Mummy and Daddy went to Uncle Simon and Auntie Sarah’s for our first family get together!

Painting, skipping and ‘tennis’ before a socially distant visit from Granny. Her first proper visit in at least 5 months!

We had a socially distant play date at a friend’s house but no photographs were taken at all! This is the only one of the day when Mummy was putting Oliver to bed.
