A bitterly cold park visit today followed by hot chocolate/chai lattes in the bath to warm up!

28th December

Both sets of Grandparents visited us today with their presents. Unfortunately, it was back door deliveries but it was memorable! We all loved our presents.

27th December

Travelling home today but not before we lost a tooth, found our holiday elf had drank Mummy’s prosecco and then we cleaned the house! Returned home to open more pressies!

26th December

Boxing Day dip in the North Sea followed by another park and turkey with chips!

25th December

Our alternative Christmas Day! Very different to our normal day but we loved it. Santa found us and left lots of gifts, we went to the park, failed miserably at taking two family photos, had no sprouts and finished off by decorating Santa ornaments!

24th December

Santa sent his Christmas Eve box early this morning with a little surprise. We were going away for Christmas! We arrived, decorated our Christmas biscuits, visited the park, wrote our Santa letters and left a trail for the reindeer. 

23rd December

Today was all about Christmas preparations and seeing the Go Ahead Christmas bus! We loved waving to Santa and his elf!

22nd December

A lovely evening at St Alban’s for their Crib event! We were given our take away christingles too!

21st December

First surprise of the Christmas holidays - a family swim. The (blurred!) reaction of each child says it all! Cold and wet people weren’t all thrilled to have a photograph afterwards!

More parks and mud after church!

A muddy park visit followed by a walk round the lake to see the ducks and swans!

Love this decoration from Oliver’s school! Lovely way to end the school term.

Final BSL exam of the year completed today before our Beavers and Cubs Christmas party in the car park after swimming!

Work Christmas parties are at home this year!

A ‘zoom’ morning for carers. We made Christmas trees and bracelets, plus learning more about posture and diet.

Jessica’s Christmas party and lunch day! She was equally happy having her hair down.

Maisie’s Christmas lunch and party day! She was over the moon at being able to wear her hair down!

Mark’s Christmas work quiz! Last one of the year. So festive dress up night!

Swimming is back! The cafe is closed but we’re prepared with coffee and juice!

The wrapping has started, alongside some Christmas music to help pass the time!

Wet Sunday so getting very wet delivering cards, but Oliver is enjoying it!

Fantastic doorstop visit from Santa, Mrs Claus and their elf! Bonus that Santa was on a motorbikes as the reindeer are resting!

A surprise doorstep delivery from a friend followed by Christmas card writing! Not much else to do when the weather is so hideous.
