The pier is open! Mummy enjoyed a long coastal walk today, including a walk along the pier. The doll was located!

Friday fun afternoon with Oliver before garden play, Rainbows and mug cakes at Brownies!

A beautiful visit to Alnwick Gardens today, including the Cherry Blossom trees in full bloom and lots of Mummy’s favourite tulips, followed by a park visit after school for Oliver who’d had a great day at school!

Zoom craft morning, deliveries for charity, returning to swimming and descending stairs headfirst!

Lunch date today to the Pavilion! Our first time out together in too long!

19th April

New trainers day today! The girls both have to wear trainers for school at the moment (so they can do more outside learning and PE whenever necessary). They’ve worn their old ones out!

18th April

Shiremoor Adventure Playground for the first time in ages this afternoon!

17th April

The day started with dancing to Walking in the Air! We made some healthy duck treats and then walked to feed the ducks!

We cut the grass and then managed a play after school!

Mummy escaped for lunch (chips were just a side!) with a friend today!

Pumping up the tyres, oiling the chains and lifting seats!

Today was all about sorting our charity clothes out. 16 bin bags (admittedly some had shoes so weren’t full) later...!

12th April

Oliver was back to school today and very excited! The girls had an extra day off, so we had a trip to Preston Hall Museum. It was bitterly cold but we spent an amazing 5 hours in the park and grounds.

Haircuts before school this week (Oliver wondered if he could put his back on!), cuddles with statues, finished off with a snowy park and beach visit!

10th April

Silly sarnies, housework, plaster of Paris fun before Daddy’s horse won the Grand National!

9th April

Hopping fun, picnic in the snow and fun at Northumberlandia with Maisie’s friend!

8th April

New sensory box fun, games and cookie making. There was another park visit too, but photos contained too many other children.

Bin men excitement, a helper at Morrison’s and another park!

Snowing outside so it’s been a craft, games and planting type of day today!

It’s been more than 10 days since our last school day, so it was safe for our ‘childcare bubble’ to join us for lunch today! The first time anyone has been in our house for more than a year!

Happy Easter! Breakfast in bed for Daddy, Easter egg hunt, church and lots of chocolate!

Park fun, cake making and Tin on a Wall collecting for our street!

We love when all three are playing together! Plus an amazing free fruit and vegetable delivery, crafts and then fish and chips for dinner! There were hot cross buns too for lunch!

Police park again this afternoon followed by ice creams!

Gymnastics Easter Scavenger Hunt. Starting at North Shields Fish Quay, ending at Cullercoats, and then a walk back to the fish quay to get the car!
