Setting Maisie off on her way to school! She normally goes alone, but wanted us to walk her halfway today.

Maisie has been a superstar this weekend and helped sort out some of our kitchen cupboards!

Great North Run 2024 - done! 2 hours 26 mins (9 mins faster than 6 years ago). Happy with that but NEVER again.

Back to Scouts tonight and two of our children are more interested in the new member (Leader’s daughter)!

Last full day of the school holidays! We went to Beamish again and it was significantly quieter as it was foggy and cooler. Win win!

Final ice cream of the summer holiday! Maisie wanted to eat her ice cream, not smile for the photo!
27th August
A slightly traumatic day as one of our favourite places to eat closed down without any notice. The staff were in clearing the restaurant, saw and heard the resulting trauma and offered a free ice cream, including an opportunity to use the machine.
